Well another busy day for me, I really am feeling quite pooped, so whilst I was having a quiet moment I thought I would write a bit for H&H!
Mum turned up yesterday, I assumed to ride me, but no out came the grooming kit and those springy bits she puts in my mane. Oh no shes going to make me look like a girl
, what will my pals think? Well it wasnt so bad and she did give me some carrots after and then left me to my hay
.
I knew something was up this morning because Mum appeared before Id even gone in the field (Mum doesnt do mornings
), and before I knew it I was on the wheely stable and away. Mum then spent time fussing with my coat and mane what was that all about, she doesnt normally do that
! Into the outdoor area we went and joy of joys there was a fit chestnut mare (who I winked at
) and a JUMP! I decided not to buck Mum off this year and behaved.
We then went into the arena and we had to jump lots of jumps
, they were quite scary as they were all brown with bits of tree stuck in them! One of them Mum gave a good look to so I stopped so she could see it better
! She told me to grow up so I jumped it the next time, see no thanks. Now this is where it got interesting, we then went in the arena with 11 other horses and all had to canter round together yeah, how much fun was that
! I then got given an orange ribbon and a huge pat, I heard her say 5th, she seemed very pleased.
I then got to eat some hay, but I was lonely and bored so stomped about a bit
, Mum then came back and got on again, and we went straight into the arena with 5 other horses (see Im good at counting) and joy of joys the fit mare was there again, and more JUMPS
! We got to all have a canter together which was fab, then I had to show off and do the jumps, I got my legs in a tangle with the cantering though
. But guess what we got another ribbon, green this time and so much more my colour, Mum seemed very pleased and patted me lots.
Then we came home, well after I played up and pretended to be scared of the lorry (I got 3 apple treats out of all that fuss!)
. I then got some carrots and Mum kissed me in front of my mates (arrggh!) but I did get to go out in the sun naked without those horrible rugs. Ahhh I love my Mum really
