I took Bertie to the big boating lake he loves to go to today. We met a terrier coming round the other way that he seemed quite taken with. Anyway we carried on and when we got back to the car park the guy was putting the terrier Bertie liked into his car. Bertie went bounding over and tried to jump into his boot

I was mortified!! My dog tried to ditch me and go home with someone else!!
The old bloke probably wondered what I did to him for him to try hitch a lift!!

My JRT charged across the forest carpark at a huge collie the other day barking at it. She is normally really quiet and doesn't bark at all, at home or out. I was totally affronted, as I would hate a small yappy dog barking at me. I called an apology across to the owner, grabbed my mutt and beat a retreat.
