My dog eats/barks at the broom

has this happened to anyone else and how do i solve this short of putting the dog away when i'm sweeping the yard?

If you teach it 'Leave' and 'Stay' your problem is solved!!!

mine does... so does all of the holiday dogs (i am dog sitter). AND At the hoover!

One of ours used to attach itself to the mop and be dragged along with it,was very funny at times

Teach sit/stay,should do the trick.

Yes all my pups do too ....until they learn those two magic words!!!

Mine used to chase the sweeping brush until he ran into it while I was using it - he must have really whacked his little nose because now he sits and watches from a respectful distance! Not that I would recommend it...
