I posted to say we had Humpy to stay 1y.o. mountain dog x lab (rescue no one would breed anything that soppy) and I had said that I would post pictures of him and pip playing....

However Pip is a complete diva. These two had met previously both in and out of the house and Pip completely out ran/turned him (not the sharpest knife this huge dog) and they walked home together and lay down.

So we had him to stay for 36 hours. First he arrived at 7am and Pip did not get out of bed until 4pm when OH woke up from working all night  I thought Cockers were meant to be energetic. (And I won't let Humpy upstairs as he is too big and young to be running up and down stairs) Anyway when she did condescend to emerge she kept running circles around Humpy poor boy but he thought it was fun . Then when they both lay down Pip kept jumping onto him then running away. The only moment we had peace was when they were both watching the hamster do his evening wheel run. Very focused. ;)
We walked them separately so we didn't have to wake baby. And OH fully prepared for no arms but I told him NOT to use the harness (that had been bought because he pulled so much) and use the collar instead and humpy was an angel despite what we were told. :D
Anyway went to bed and with Humpy downstairs he whined and barked so OH spent the night on the sofa as Humpy had never spent the night on his own before in a strange place since he was in the rescue. Anyway he left before Pip emerged from her pit the next day.
So he has met babies and is ok with them (not left alone just 'this is not a chew toy') trys to sit on your lap despite weighing far more than me and you can't see the TV round him and can't turn around in our galley kitchen so has to go out backwards!
He is the clumsiest oaf in the world but welcome again...if madam will be a bit more accommodating! We are arranging another play date to socialise them both more and hopefully a few more sleep-overs but they are both very under socialised but we will get there. :D

No his name is Humpfrey but I can't say it easily when I call him so shortened it to Humpy. :D
But Pip started as Pippin then Pip then Pip Squeak now Squeaky. Or sometimes squeaky squeaky pip pip
My son named Harry is now called Flashy and Husband's called Moo to rhyme this lew short for llewellyn....see a pattern developing.

From Squeak, flashy, moo and me!
