my dog just doesnt eat :| he is fed cooked meats off market , he wont eat dog food neverhas turns his nose up at dried food , so has cooked meat but he only has about 1 bowl of it a day and he is a very active dog so doesnt keep weight on to well just wondered if there was anything else we can do i have just tried to feed him now and wont eat, he wont eat till about 7pm on a night

What time do you put it down at? If my dogs don't eat their food within 20 mins - 30 mins max it is taken off them and nothing is fed again until the next day. They soon learn to eat what they are given.
 
he gets up at around 9am, and food down after he been out for toilet he comes in we put food down, he toddles back upstairs sleeps again lol. then comes down at 11am brought foood in for him and he sniffed it and now he asleep on couch now :C he sleeps alot then he goes and works on a farm all afternoon and nothing to eat
 
Have you tried fish, tuna in oil (tinned, drives my non-eater mad, also cod liver oil on the food, not too much though, (she is very very fussy, thats her in the rain on my signature). Its high in protein so she has it once a week. I feed once a day, pm and sometimes she eats loads, sometimes none. She is 8 now, so I have stopped worrying, she never gets fat, even with a crust of toast every morning (mmmm, with butter and marmite!!).
