So do you have any suggestions for strong toys. We have tried all types and they are all pretty good quality too but she stil manages to tear them to shreads after about 4 days!
My dog is exactly the same, he loves to rip up tennis balls and chews straight through most toys. The only toys we have found are strong enough for him are Nylabones, Kong toys and Boomer Balls.
My Border Terrorist manages to destroy everything.....except two. He never managed to "kill" the polar bear ball we got him a few years ago (and believe me he tries). He also has managed to not destroy the dog sized jollly ball I got at the tack shop. It's just a smaller version of the popular horse toy!
My jack russell has a dog size jolly ball, complete with a large hole that she chewed in it. But her kong is still in one piece. Think that is the only toy she has got that she hasn't destroyed.
I have some kong like things with a hole at each end then I thread Bail string through them I can throw them further then!
Tried everything else and two cattle dogs can disembowl just about any toy in seconds, especially when they start tugging at each end. They also play with plastic bottles when we can't find kong on a string, at least I can recycle the bits that are left!
Boston Terriers are notorious for shaking and dismembering their toys
You should check out the Boston Terrier dog toy challenge--it has pointed us in the right direction more than once, though I can't resist buying the odd stuffed critter for Stella to befriend
These are the only toys my collie has not destroyed while training (agility) he rips/chews/ destroys most things - including his leads and Gencon Headhalter thing as he gets a bit excited! But still has one of these!!
