My gsd has just come home from the kennels where he stayed for two weeks.
His bark has really changed, in fact the first time I hesrd him barking after he got home, I thought it was another dog nearby!
He is a very barky dog and often it is high pitched and anxious sounding. He is quite a highly strung dog.
His new bark is softer and deeper.
I really think he has spent two weeks in the kennels barking his head off and he has lost his voice.
Hopefully it will get back to normal soon. He has settled back home well, and is in good condition. He has been going to the same kennels for all his life (6 yrs) but this was the first time he has been on his own since we lost our rottweiler last March.
