My dog's been itching her belly alot, and I just found a mole.

So, for the past three days she's been sitting down and scrabbling with her back legs to itch her stomach. I've just looked at her now and she's got a red raw mark, and a big mole. Like, a brown patch, about two centimeters across? I'm worried, majorly worried. She had some lumps removed from her body a few months ago, but they were benign, and now this? What does everyone suggest?

It could be something minor has made her itchy and her scratching has created a "hot spot". However, as you are worried, and with her history, I would pop her to the vet.

We took her to the vet yesterday.
Turns out she just had an insect bite reaction, and the skin colouring (what I thought was a mole) was actually just a dog version of a freckle.
