I brought my new (3yo) boy home nearly 3 weeks ago, (had kept him at a friends initially)
Since bringing him home hes been doing so well :D Have got him lunging (walk and trot) and introduced a second line around his bum (only done that in walk so far) Am so pleased with just how quick hes learning what I ask :)

Dentist came out yesterday and took his wolf tooth out, so in about a week I can start bitting him :D (I was SOOO Impressed, I didnt think he'd take too kindly to have his teeth rasped/one pulled out. He just totally relaxed :D ) And one of mums friends has a saddle that might fit so she's going to come see this weekend :D (Not getting on him anytime soon, no rush, but good to get him used to one early)

Am very pleased with how well hes going :D Just think things are starting to come together now :D

Sooo lovely! Well done. Have you got Sylvia Stanier's book on lungeing? It is really thorough and old school in all the best ways, explaining how to take young horses all the way through to quite advanced stuff. Good luck, and don't be tempted to rush stuff too much, even though it does sound like everything is going amazingly!
