My First Dressage test!!!!!!

Well in Sunday i decided to bite the bullet and take my horse to his first dressage comp!! there was 32 people compteting and i cam 4th!!!

May not seem very good to many people but this is the first one i have ever been to and to say that 6months ago we couldtnt even canter i was really really chuffed!!

Has boosted my confidence with him so am plannign to take him show jumping a week on sunday!! wooo hoooo am getting all excited about this competing stuff now!!! lol

it was only an easy test though pre-lim 7 so only a couple of changes of rein and 2 20meter circle in canter, dont know how well we woul do with the more difficult ones.

thanks guys, my horse really does know what he is doing when he has stopped stressing out and getting in a strop with himself!

We was practicing jumping last night an he actually jumped 4ft!!!!! it wasnt me that did it thought i would have [****] myself! he seems to be so much more in contol and at ease with himself though the higher they get!
 
Well done to you, I also entered my ever first dressage test on my mare who had only been cantering under saddle for 3 weeks. And on sunday got 60% and placed for combined championship in sept. So I to very happy

p.s any vid or pic's....I took a vid and very helpful to see what you need to work on ect ect....
