ooo i get topost in competition riders, am normally hacker only!!!

had a great day on my new horsey - well i have had him 2 months nearly but i ventured out for a local dressage - i was soo nervous i was shaking, we were goingto ride there but thunder and lightning started so we dashed back borrowed a trailer and took him up that way. Arrived v panicked no time to warm up at all - was straight in ring from box for my test. Only walk and trot but i have never done it before and after a gapfrom competing of 15 years i was actually shaking like a leaf. Horsey was true gent the whole time, i rode terribly and forgot my way but somehow managed to come second! hopefully next time i will relax a bit more and do better! All this whilst i was looking after my 2 year old toddler! Love my horsey as he never gets phased by anything! No pics i am afraid as was too wet for a camera even! Thanks fro reading hope i havent bored anyone - i am just so pleased with my rosette!!

indeed i always thought dressage was snobby but no one freaked at a wet drowned horse and screaming toddler with a neurotic owner, maybe at a higher level but i surpised myself and loved it! Got topractise have somelessons and then have another go.

Thanks for the kind comments guys

Well done, I'm hoping to do my first dressage test in ten years soon. It will also be horses first and I'm bricking it already
