I've have lent someone one of my saddles and they have expressed an interest in buying it and want to know how much I want for it. But I haven't got a clue

! It is a black GP Barnsby and is about 15 years old, but not been used for probably last 7 years as it no longer fits anything I have. (I've just been too lazy to advertise it). So it is in pretty good condition for it's age and has been stored properly. Here is a pic:

How much should I ask? I don't want to make lots of money out of them, just want them to have it at a fair market price.

Looks lovely. I went and looked at a load of second hand saddles at Rideaway a few months ago and there were plenty of similar ones (or in less good condition) for around the £300 mark.

Blimey - that's a lot more than I was intending to ask, but suppose the saddler's mark-up has to be taken into account. Thanks for the info

If it helps to get an idea....my saddler told me he would expect my Ideal (same sort of style, condition etc) that's 8 years old to sell for about £350. Now whether he meant that's what he woiuld buy it off me at and he'd then sell on at a higher price I don't know...

Thanks for all the replies - it seems like I may have underestimated rather - I was thinking of asking about £100 for it!
