Hi
smile.gif

I have an old-ish Rice trailer, two horse, new triple layered quality wood floor, well maintained, v.good paintwork (resprayed fairly recently) takes 2x 16.2hh horses. It's the Rice Beaufort 60 according to the man I spoke to at Rice. Any ideas how much it's worth and where the best place to sell it would be?

Thanks

I think about £1,200 to £1,500. Have a look at these for a guide:

http://www.horsequest.co.uk/TransportTrailers.htm (about the tenth one down)

http://www.horsemart.co.uk/DisplayResultsHorsebox.asp (various ones)

We are based on a main road, so when we wanted to sell our old Rice trailer many years ago, we just 'put it on the front'! However, you have to be very careful that someone dosen't just hook up and drive away with it!

Failing that, I would try to sell it privately through H&H, local tack and feed shops etc and possibly the free ad websites.
