For those of you who read the recent thread on Monty Roberts and natural horsemanship, you may remember that I mentioned in a post problems with my WB gelding both leading and loading. I was both surprised and delighted to receive an offer of help from Kelly Marks in person. Well to update, Kelly was as good as her word and asked the lovely Bridget Hughes to visit me (as she is reasonably local to me) which she did last Friday. Bridget spent a considerable length of time working with infinite patience and tact with both me and my chap, everything she said made sense and he responded really well. He is definitely not the easiest horse in the world but I actually had quite a lump in my throat when Bridget demonstrated "join up" and he followed her placidly around the school.

I am following Bridget's methods and very practical suggestions and can't wait for another session in a couple of weeks time. So yes, I will be buying a Dually and yes I am converted! (And please don't judge all NH by the recent videos as appearing on youtube!).
