Well technically it was the Tim Carter Hunt Memorial Challenge run after the last race of the day. But basically a P2P just one lap instead :P

Beth (Millbrook song) who I know from eventing and work at venetia's came down to help and take pictures and the like!
Because it wasn't an actual P2P race we had number bibs rather than cloths which was a shame, but we got some photos back at the lorry before I had put the bib on ;)

Basically we were flying and it was AWESOME untill he decided to trip over his own feet on landing/the stride after landing of the fourth fence. Where he face-planted (very green nose) and went arse over tit (muddy saddle) and face-planted me into the ground in the process (well I do not recall face- planting...but I had two broken teath, a black eye and an anhialted hat...so I presume so ;) :O ) OPPS!

Bloody horse. So so so so GUTTED because we didn't get very far and we didn't fall due to the fence or me tipping off..but he fell over his own feet. How very frustrating! Sigh! Can't believe we didn't finish...poo.....next time....! ;)

yessss I would like to actually complete one!!!! Although not sure when I will get another chance...not sure there are any other similar races like this.....
Maybe I will just have to do it properly and buy a pointer & get a license ;) ;)

Never mind, you've got some nice pics and your teeth (ouch!) to remind you!
 
ooohhh well done, you are brave!!! every year I think that Av would love to have a pop round...unfortunately I dont think that I would be so keen. My friends son was on the dun who won. Well done though- I think that you are very brave :D
 
Well done, wish we had something like that round here - could maybe satisfy that itch to ride in points that I'm currently trying to ignore...

Ouch to the broken teeth and black eye - nothing like war wounds to show off though lol!
 
now that would be why im COVERED in bruised - amazingly no breaks!! (im the one on the floor!)

What fun, i hope you dont mind iv saved a few of your pics and put them on my face book...

I was going to ask how that one got on! Who was the rider?

The little bay in my sig would have loved that, sadly the nearest we got to P2Ping was jumping a couple after all the races had finished.

I think the Ross Harriers do a Master's ride after their p2p and there's the Golden Button.

That fall looked nasty :eek:

Oh abso-fu**ing lutely!!! Loved it! I event...am used to hurting myself ;) ;)
Can't wait to have another crack...want to do it properly though with a proper pointer!
 
Cats_marr - looked a nasty fall, your more than welcome to use the pics but please credit the person who took them - my mum ( She took the landing side ones) I have some that I will be putting on FB that I will tag you in if you want??
