Merry Christmas everyone. My animals did exceptionally well this year as most of my requested gifts were actually benefitting them.
Question - I couldn't bear to take my new Hunters off today so I rode in them, how many of you do that and is it really bad??
Hope you are having a wonderful day, I am now in for the evening so stuffed I cannot make it to my mates to play on the electric drums (everyone benefits) x

I ride in my prehistoric hunters all the time!! very naughty! But if you split them due to riding in them Hunter wont replace them for you as theyr not a riding boot. But yeh ALL the time!

i got my first pair aged 29 and fell in love...

i sometimes ride in mine, but find 'heels down' and bit harder, they can also squeak a bit... but, all in all, they're better to ride in than 'normal' wellies.

p.s. mine have lasted 3 years with almost daily use.

I confess I ride in mine too just because I have hunter wellies and hunter welly warmers and i cant bear to take them off and expose my feet to the cold to change into my boots. I rode in my last pair for about 3 years before they got holes in the soles so you shoudl be fine

When I worked with horses I wore mine all the time, including to ride in (expect when I had to wear long black boots). My first pair lasted many years, despite my best efforts with a pitchfork!

Since then we've been through four or five pairs in just over a year (between three of us), so we've given up on them

I know they're better to ride in that the Muckboots, but the Muckboots are most definately warmer
