She is 37yrs old now and has struggled a bit this winter to the point where we had a discussion last week of whether it was time to put her to sleep, however since then with some sun and milder air she has perked up incredibly and although we know it's touch and go we are taking it one day at a time.
Well this morning I put her out to graze the clover round the building while I mucked out, I left her in her stable rug. Just before I left I swapped her into turnout and popped her into field and left her stable rug on ground. She then was in her field staring at the stable rug, snorting and prancing around because it was the scariest thing she's ever seen in her 37yrs!!! Bless her, it was funny!! Needless to say the shire x hadn't got a clue what was going on
