My girl went to her first ever party today...

I took my girly to her very first party today - at the ever so young age of 12!!

We were just doing a walk / trot dressage test - she was an absolute angel, and we got 64.3% and 1st place!!!

I am so pleased with her - I was really suprised that she was so relaxed about the whole thing. Unfortunately no pics as my photographer for the day pulled out at the last minute

- will try harder for pics next time

Girly is in mummy's very very good books today!

That sounds great - well done on the score and the placing but mostly for getting out and about. I did my first dressage the other week (came 4th with 57%) and had a huge smile on my face for just doing something. Best wishes for more stuff to come - they'll be no stopping you now!

Yes me being pleased is the understatement of the day.

I was so nervous going this morning - and I think I was worse as I was really looking forward to having my friend there to chat to to distract me from being nervous.

She was even really good with the other horses in the warm up as well - which is something she has never had to deal with before -

I am most impressed with the score though - I think that is higher than I ever got with my old mare!
