My Hairy Lurchers

Hi I'm Lucy and i am horse and dog mad!! I have two dogs, Benoffie pie (Ben) and Gracie. They are hairy lurchers and i got them both from different rescues. Here are some pictures of them both. Gracie is the brindle, Ben the dark grey.

Love the lurchers, we've got five! No other breed makes sleeping look so graceful does it? Nice to see they have their own bedroom!

yes, that *WAS* my bedroom but i am now relegated to the sofa!!!

5 lurchers!!! MY HEAVEN!!!! I'm lucky to have two!!

Only 1 problem, i have two cats aswell and Ben isn't exactly cat friendly!!

Your lurchers look very gorgeous and must have the same frame of mind as a greyhound re the bed pose lol

She's lovely, she has got lots of collie in her hasn't she!! She looks a bit like ben's ex-sister (he was fostered when he was rescued)millie looked a bit like yours. She was a lurcher with alot of collie in her and she acts like a collie but also has a bit of lurcher instinct in her!!

Millie looks lovely too and quite similar to Gercha! I do like the collie lurcher cross - ours has the loyalty and trainability of a collie, without a collie's hyperactivity. But she has the speed and rabbiting ability of a lurcher!

Do you know what mix your lurchers are?

Well Gracie is a Deerhound X for sure, Ben we think is a Bedlington X Whippet X Greyhound but we don't know for sure
