My *head desk* moment of the week

Went for a walk with my friend and her staffie yesterday and she very excitedly told me that she might be pregnant (the dog not my friend)!
When her young stepson was walking her 4 weeks ago a labrador 'got her'.
I did all the usual, told her about all the rescue dogs, the expense and risks of having puppies and tried to encourage her to get to the vets and get them aborted but she is adamant that she will be having them and keeping a pup......i just hope that she isn't pregnant :-(

There is no end to peoples stupidity is there. A quick trip to the vet the same day and the problem would have been sorted, although if she doesn't see it as a problem Can just imagine that labrador x staffied will be prime candidates for being identified as "pit bull types", oh dear!

I just cant get my head round peoples stupidity on why its acceptable to bring more xbreed pups into the world.
