My head doesn't seem to fit a hat?!

Hey,

I am currently riding in a champion pro plus jockey scull cap which I have to say fits me perfectly. The only problem is is that I do dressage and let's face it - scull caps dont grace the dressage scene that often.

I have trawled through tons of hats but none seem to to 'fit'. They all wobble backwards and forward on my head or are too snug?

Can anyone recommend me a hat suitable for unusual head shapes?! Budget wise I would prefer to stay under 200.

Many thanks

Have you tried the Fiona?
I too have a problem with hats and find that some just don't fit me and leave a gap at the front and back of my head. I wear a Pro tector for everyday which is really comfy and have just treated myself to the Fiona for competitions.

Go to a shop with a large range of hats, they should have something that will work with fitting strips or a rock block. If you fit a champion pro plus skull nicely they should be able to sort you out with something, the hat your wearing isn't for rhombus shaped headed people so you should be ok!!

I struggle to find hats that fit. I have a HS1 for most things and a just toggs junior show jumper, both fit my round head well.

how bout a kep? defo getting more popular with the new hat rule in dressage and fitted me and i have a strange shaped head and its the comfiest hat ever!!!

Thank you! - I will check them out :) Can you recommend anywhere with a large selection of hats near essex/london? I have tried Ingatestone saddlery.

Also with the hats such at the Kep is there saddlery with them insock as I really would like to try before ordering online?

I have a wonky shaped head too (or so it seems when hat shopping!), I have the same skull as you, I also have the charles owen ayr8 and H2000 both of which fit really well (though the ayr8 prob fits v slightly better than the h2000, though I only notice if it is a hot day and I have been wearing the h2000 for a few hours or more while)
