My head has shrunk!!

I know having children lessens your brain cells but my head has shrunk and my lovely lovely hat seems to now be too big for me!! It was v. expensive and bought for me by my Dad who passed away shortly after. So, is there anything you can buy or anything I can do to make it fit me? I'd say it's only 1/4 inch off, but obviously I want to be safe. I'll buy a new one if I absolutely have to but wondered if anyone knew of anything out there that might fix the problem?

My hat came with sticky foam strips for adjustments.

What make is your hat? I'd recommend contacting the manufacturer and asking if they can recommend someone who could pad it out to fit your head.

Has some cheeky beggar borrowed it and stretched it or compressed the padding so its now too big for you? That's what happened to my nice hat.
