With Lily missing I'm spending rather more time than I'd like searching the freeads sites to see if she ends up being advertised on one of them. This means that I'm spending rather more time than I'd like getting cross and angry at the dumbass breeding combos and the claims they make, and all the other things that tend to make AAD folks a little wound up

But I have to say today this ad really stood out for me:

bouncy... excitable... not great with small children... with that combo.. shocker and whichever way round the mating was...

Oh FGS, poor little pup, no time for vaccinations what a load of bull. I wonder if she really is that cross or just a black and tan terrier who they think might go quicker as an exotic designer breed.
Still keeping my fingers crossed that you have some news of Lily.

Thanks MM - going through these sites is soul destroying, I can't help thinking with all the dogs being offered for free on there why some git seems to have thought it ok to clear off with Lil

MM I agree with you, I also thought that as she was a terrier cross they decided to make her more appealing by adding in the Rottie, I hope that is the case anyway. Poor little thing makes you wonder why they got a dog in the first place when they obviously have time restrictions.

in fairness I think they are being truthful, my friend has this mix and she is a spit of this pup, mum was rotty and dad JR, they were in rescue and strangely all pups had different physical characteristics, some were long legged etc. I have linked my friend to it in case she can pursuade her mum to have it with hers!! So sorry about Lily, I cannot even start to imagine what you are going thorough. Big hugs and all my good luck for you finding her xx

because my dog looks like that, [markings of rottie , body of jrt ] and im sure she has no rottweiller in her. They probably have absolutely no idea.

I hope she isnt that mix anyway, the irresponsibilty of some people these days saddens me immensely.

On a happier note and relating to my other thread about the KC, we think we may have found a suitable working cocker pup, so we're taking a break from moving house this weekend to go and have a look - they're not old enough to come away from mum so it gives us a chance to get sorted out before going back to collect if we do go ahead. They've been health tested with good results and are from a working home so fingers crossed when we do find Lily she'll have another dog to terrorise at home.
