I love my new livery yard and we have both settled in well. However, Hattie has become very clingy and more vocal with me. She doesn't like mixing with the other horses except a little 12hh 20 year old gelding who has now become her "boyfriend" and when I put her out, she stands there looking at me intently wanting me to bring her back in. If you go into the field, she will follow you around.
When I go to bring her back in for the evening, she's already there waiting for me or if not, she she canters up to me whinnying. Even when she's tied up, she's always whickering at me too.
She's been schooling well though and she really seems to like our new outdoor school and generally seems happy except for wanting to become my lap dog!
When we had our own field, my friend's daughter had her section D on there with Hattie but was never this clingy or vocal with me.
Anyone else's horses get this way when moved from their own field to a livery yard?
