My horse has decided she wants to be naked!

She has been out at night for a few weeks now but has been rugged due to the totally unpredictable weather we've been having. Today after my lesson I turned her out naked to let her have some fresh air about her, thinking I would bring her in later and put the rug on for tonight as the forecast was for torrential showers.
When I went down for her she took one look at me and headed off and had a good long roll in the muddiest part of the field!
So that's it - she has made her decision - the rug is now off. :)
 
Indeed.

Mine would prefer to be naked but he was clipped a few weeks ago so I'm leaving his rain sheet on to keep the wind and rain off.
 
I took my horse's rug off at the end of February as it got so warm (he's not clipped and is a section D who never wore a rug before I got him). He enjoys plastering himself with mud, which is ideal as we've had some grooming "issues" so we're both getting lots of practice!
