Just after opinions as what to do.....
Since moving to the winter fields last sat all the boys have been a bit wild, Toby no exception. When I've ridden this week he's been doing ome beautiful trot work bnut as soon as we canter he just goes faster and faster and faster and wont come back to trot. I think that it is probably the sugar in the grass on the new fields - there is a lot of grass!!!
Thing is I have a dressage on Sun and we are doing N30 which has two medium trots and two medium canters in it, and two chage of rein through trot in canter. Problem i'm having is I can't bring him back to trot to change the rein!!! And he wont come back to me after the medium work.
Dressage test is at 3.20 tomorrow - do you think that if I leave him in tomorrow it will make any difference? I was going to turn out AM you see???? Suggestions welcome!!!
