It would appear the grass has lost its zap, over the past couple of weeks she has become very reluctant to do anything. Wasn't too bad on sunday but my question is is there something I can give her to spice her up a little, hard feed isn't an option...any advice thanks in advance....she'll be clipped this weekend (just a little one)

Could perhaps try her on pink powders in her chaf? Fairly cheep and good at giving them a boost.

Nosey and itreguaed as I am , why no hard feed? Is chaff counted as a hard feed? If so you're going to have a hard time doing anything then.

Grass still in the ground & hay with a mineral lick on the side. She keeps good weight on that & throughout the spring rockets everywhere. However, it has just begun to get colder here and last night we had a good schooling session, I'm going to try the clip & see how we go. Don't need to feed her anything else as she lives out 24/7 and is only ridden by me so doesn't need artifical food.
