my horse had an operation to snip a nerve in both his hocks about 4 months ago hes been on box rest and walked in hand from about 4weeks after the op. the vet came out and I trotted him up and he did all the checks he needed to do eg back and ligaments. so we had the go ahead after not being able to ride him after 7months so I tacked him up with my qualified instructor who is also a chiropractor and I got on his back. hes a fine Connemara and im 15years old 8stone girl. he was still bucking and so we called the vet out again and he did never blocks all down his legs and tested the sole of his feet for any puff in the hoof. but no reaction to that. hes still lame. he now gets 30mins walking in the morning 30mins walking at lunchtime and 30mins walking at night before bed yet we still don't know what the problem could be. its heart breaking seems as we bought he only a year and a half ago and I haven't been able to ride him for most of it. if anyone has experienced a similar issue please please post back. thanks in advance x
