Well I've been hacking Believe out, both with Star and on her own, and its become apparent that she is a total townie.

She is BRILLIANT riding through the busy village high street; noisy vehicles, children on bikes, sun shining off shop windows, traffic lights and crossings - all no problem, she's a little star

However, the poor little girl is a bit more unsure about the countryside. The first time I tried to put her on the verge to let a car past on our quiet back road she was totally baffled, but we seem to have mastered that now. She's certainly far more unsure about ditches, pheasant noises, gates, sheep and goats, etc then anything in the busy village. It's quite funny. My mother says she's obviously a little town mouse and not a country mouse

Mine is exactly the same, completly unfazed on the roads going past schools, building sites etc but if he sees a tractor on the fields or building materials on the tracks they become monsters whereas on the roads he wouldn't bat an eyelid!

Still at least on the tracks / fields its safer for him to be looking at things than messing about on the roads.

Bless her!! Yes dress in black with high viz - you'll have them chavs scared in no time!!!

Donkey hates sheep - goes bug eyed and sideways at the site of them!!!!!!!

She's certainly not the police horse type, far too little and dainty. Now Star would be good and menacing at the job

What chavs?!

I'm riding round country back roads, bridleways and the neighbouring village. Maybe they are flooded with chavs round your way, but they sure aren't round here

Oh she's ok about tractors too, it's just the random bits of rubbish blowing in the hedge which she is sure will get her...
crazy.gif

I'm not sure about being safer in the countryside, we did end up with one leg in a ditch yesterday when she spooked and then backed up rather than going forward

Silly mare!! I'm sure she'll be fine with a bit more time, every things still very new to her.

ARGH!! That darn evil twin really has got every one convinced that cause I live in Cambridge I am surrounded by chavs

I don't at all. I live in a very nice area and so do my horses

Grrrr! She will be uninvited from visiting the new horse for spreading such defamatory comments

LOL!! Star snorts at them with a "what are they doing down my road?!"
mad.gif
kinds of look

Bel just gawps suspiciously.... oh, and apparently the gang of goats are even more suspect
smirk.gif

I really haven't a clue where I stand with Star at the mo. In the morning she often doesn't want to know me, and then in the evening she won't let me leave and demands scratches and cuddles
confused.gif
Mum and I are supposed to be taking them out later so we shall just have to see what madam is like when we get there..... Never a dull moment
smirk.gif

Oh, and the evil one is in big trouble - see above

Puppy - I too am in Cambridgeshire!

However in the small town / village area's I am in there are plenty of chavs driving around in their chavmobiles - Corsa's & Saxo's with Bodykits etc etc

Ahh, well believe me, Sunflower spreading these rumours is totally unsubstantiated
smirk.gif
It's just mere jealously and bitterness.

*cough* boatrace *cough*
smirk.gif

What makes you think she doesn't already have them...
wink.gif
grin.gif
Says a lot that she's letting a known chav - DrWeevil (just see her signature for proof) visit the new horse but not me...
grin.gif

No she won't. She'll stand out like a sore thumb cause there are no chavs
smirk.gif
FYI, Star and Believe's nearest equine neighbours are a racing and hunting yard

Anyway, how did a thread about my new horse get turned into this tosh?!
tongue.gif
Go on, take your bitterness about Cambridge back to the SB
