Today we went on a nice hack, and met a tractor. The engine was off, and there were no scary attachments. We've met hundreds of tractors, and he's trotted past without batting an eyelid. Today, he reared around, bunny hopped, and tried to bugger off with me in order not to go near it. The tractors owner ended up dragging us past before syaing "These youngsters need to get used to scary things". I didn't dare reply that he's 25 and has lived on farms for the past 12 years!

And he looks like a pit pony with an afro for a mane. I pulled it in an attempt to smarten it, and now he has a mohican/ afro combo, and looks even worse!

Bloomin horses...

Sorry but that is quite funny! He was just keeping your on your toes, and reminding you he is still young at heart!

He's so naughty, bless him! He rears and plays silly buggers at the start of XC, and is seriously nappy, but manages never to actually stop at the fence! Love him, but we got him to be an sensible hack- guess what, he definitely isn't!!

he really is keeping you on your toes but isn't nice to know you have kept him in tip top condition that some-one thinks he's a youngster. I bought a 3 year old youngster early spring that hadn't gone through the winter very well and he looked like an old pony of about 22 years old. He's grown since then and put on weight nicely
