So went down to ride tonight (on about my TB ex-racer aka the witch) got her in the school, head in the air like a giraffe, might as well have been on a race track as thats how fast she thought she would try and go! No dear you haven't been racing in the past 3 years so why do you STILL think it is necessary to do things at 100 miles per hour?! arghh so anyway tried to work through it to no avail she was just head in the air messing about witch today, lately I have been riding her in a nose net which seemed to be doing the trick so I thought it may have been flapping and irritating her so I stopped, jumped off and took off the net. Put it on the fence, gathered my reins to re-mount and she threw a fit, tried to canter off so I stopped her, attempted to re-mount again and she reared straight up in the air and then landed on my foot 
by this time I was rather angry and now in pain so I thought I would lunge her instead to try and get some fizz out of her. Next comes circles of none stop canter, going so fast on the circle she was slipping. Where she had been slipping, her hoofprints had uncovered damp patches in the sand which she then had to start spooking at. So by this time, I ended up leading her round to cool her off and retired for the night! ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE .. why on earth did I decide to buy a TB chestnut mare, ex racer with one white sock?! why oh why oh why! Put me in the worst mood ever and now I have a fat purple foot!
