My horse lost a shoe yesterday should I

carry on putting him out in the field. He has v good feet, but after being in the field today his leg is a little puffy tonight. Should I put gamgee and vet wrap on his sole in the hope it will stay on in the field or leave him in for the day. My farrier cant come until Thursday. Would love some advice/thoughts please.
 
I would carry on putting the horse out. If you cant borrow or buy a boot then gamgee and vetwrap is better than nothing but put a grid of duct tape over the top for toughness.
 
When one of ours loses a shoe, it just goes out as normal

My horses feet are terrible if he loses a shoe, but if your horses feet are good, the ground is soft at mo so would put it out :-)
