So..... not only has he had 2 surgeries since Jan 07 (one for colic in Dec 08) and subsequent checkups by local vet but he has now taken to getting into the mares field next door which has a bit more grass than his field and the other weekend gave himself mild colic again.
Thankfully vet came out and said it was very mild as he could still hear his gut moving and he was still poohing phew!
At some point during the same weekend he put his back out and was walking like an old man which was yet another call out for the vet - thankfully this is now fixed.
But this morning get a call from my mate who goes down at 6.45 to say he was back in the mares field
he looked fine though but Im sure he just wanted me to get the vet out.
Im thinking of getting a goldfish instead - anyone want shares coz my pony is costing me a small fortune in vets bills
but on the plus side the vet is a nice bit of eye candy
