I took my youngster to a local show today and he was so good bless him.
We only did the 2ft as it was his second ever show but we did take him in a 80cm clear round (parlty because we didn't want to change the jumps
We got a clear in the first round, so got off him to wait for the jump off, but as I get back in he thought it was funny to take off with me!
Then we did a parctice jump and he took off across the showground (he was like wahayy I'm jumping!)
Well needless to say we jumped a VERY fast jump off but had a pole down, still managed to get 5th though!
Very pleased with him but thinking about new bit for show next weekend as I'm not going to be able to school the excitement out of him in one week.
Any ideas, he's in a loose ring snaffle with a french link atm as he leans on the bit!
I was thinking the KK universal as I used this on my old horse and it has the same sort of mouth piece as his snaffle.
