We got back from hols yesterday and he was his usual self when I did them last night. This morning he wasn't hanging over his door waiting for breakfast so I checked him and he was down. At first I thought colic but he struggled to get up. He is 31 and has arthritis in his hocks. He was quite wobbly foe a few minutes but ate all his feed and seems fine out in the field.
Hubby thinks he may have got cast and panicked. I am being all pesssimistic and think it may be the beginning of the end.
So some hugs and vibes required for Haddy please.

(((((vibes)))) im sure he will be fine

What a shock! My thoughts were though perhaps he wasn't expecting you. I presume someone else has been doing his breakfast while you were away and perhaps he wasn't so his routine may be later after a week or so, but was hopefully just enjoying his bed.
