A few of you may know my horse went down with Laminitis a few months ago. I was very concerned and was thinking the worst. Well fast-forward to now and he is doing grand. I am so pleased with his progress as is my vet and farrier that have never seen such a quick turn around in a horse. We also think we have found the caused of the attacks. He is now sound and full of beans! He gets 2 hours turnout a day in the school with company to let of steam 1 hour in morning and 1 hour at night.
He has always been a laid back no problem horse, in fact you could do anything with him and not worry about him kicking ect ..well thats what I thought until last night. I did the normal and went into his stable to put his headcollar on and the little git, reared up, spun and tried to double barrel me!! Lucky I didnt lock the door behind me and had an exit! Note to one self never take horses for granted as they are so unpredictable! He is obviously feeling much better, no excuse for his out of order behavior tho!
Has anyones gentle, loving horse done anything like this before and turned into the devil!
