just to let those who have been following my horse with suspected colic it is just been diagnosed as colitis - inflammation of the colon. He has a 50% chance of pulling thro - hes in intensive care at the royal vet college now.If he doesnt get worse tonight he should pull thro.Poor boy - the staff there are amazing - a team of 10 met us off the lorry literally - and 4 started on him straight away, it was incredible.

anyway fingers crossed for my boy, i dont think its his time yet.

Huge vibes coming his way. I hope he pulls through. It sounds as if he is getting the best possible care.
I'm sure you won't get much sleep tonight but these oldies like to give us a scare or two, just to keep us on our toes.

Fingers crossed for him. Sounds like he has got the best of care, lucky chap

So pleased that he is still fighting on and is in one of the best places to look after him. They have all the drugs and know how to give him the best chance possible. I should imagine you are exhausted by now. Try to get some rest and sleep if you can and as I kept getting told by the Horspital, no news is good news so don't worry if they don't ring you. More hugs and vibes to you both.

I somehow missed this update last night. Poor lad & poor you, I know just how scary it is. I won't tell you to eat &sleep because I'm fairly sure you can't, but at least try to sit quietly for a little while & drink something with some sugar in it. And talk to someone, it sounds silly bt havig someone there does help.

Lots of prayers & vibes for him - come on Aj, you can do this!

I can only imagin what you must be going through my thoughts are with you. Love is a very painful thing and he will know you are doing the very best for him. Everything crossed, keep us posted.
