My horse went out today after 5 months box rest :)

After a bad fracture exactly 5 months ago, my boy has spent 2 1/2 months cross tied and another 2 1/2 on normal box rest.

Today was his first day out.

His other mum and I are so so happy today

My boy pulled the tendons in his front leg and i can get on him from monday after 4 months!!!

Only for ten mins a day but hey, not complaining LOL

Yep - gave him sedaline.

We had to stop walking out 6 weeks ago due to his acrobatics, so not taking any chances with turnout!

Its great isnt it? My mare was on months of box rest last year and went out in May. She had a tear in her DDFT. Been ok until 4weeks ago when she then injured her other leg, small tear, hardly visible on her SDFT but it was enough to keep her in again - shes just a Mad March Mare! Not as bad a her last injury 2 yrs ago but when shes recovered enough shes going to live out so we dont get this mad running about.
