Wonder if it would be a spottie.

Your mare looks lovely. :) I have to say personly I don't like spotty horses :o

I always wanted a foal out of Lucy and I always said I wanted this to be her husband.

I know she wouldn't have had a colourd foal but I met this stallion on the eventing circit and fell in love with him. He was so calm at first I didn't realise he was a stalllion. :) I couldn't face not riding her so I always said I would breed from her if something happened and I could no longer ride her. Sadly when Lucy was unable to be ridden I couldn't breed from her as she had a hireditory (sp?) illness and she died 8 months after diagnosis anyway :( :( So I never got my baby Lucy. But it's a nice dream anyway. I think there baby would have been amazing. :D

LauraWheeler he is gorgeous.
I'm not a spotty fan normally but i just fell inlove as soon as i saw him.
Sorry to hear about your mare. Such a shame and waste.

Lady is my first mare/filly so it's nice to think i have an option of a foal if i was unable to ride or she was unable to be ridden.

But like I said I plan on her being ridden until she is to old to have babies. :D

Nice idea Sammie, but leave breeding to the experts and enjoy your horse, who looks a lovely girl :) Too nice to have a spotty foal ;) A friend has a mare in foal to Upton's Deli Circus. I've seen him out competing and he's temperamentally as good as his ability over a fence. But he's tiny! Has smashing owners, as well.

Thankyou sammii819. Lucy was atleast 23 when I lost her and we had had 12 amazing years together so I can't complain realy :) I hope you have many many happy years with your mare.

brighteyes isn't he just amazing and I didn't mind how small he was Lucy was only 13.2hh after all ;) I saw him wondering round the lorry park at Burgie and went to find him in the stables I couldn't believe it when I saw " Caution stallion" written on his door.
