Got back yesterday from a few days in Anglesey with two friends and our horses and we had a brilliant time!
We were right next to RAF Mona but it's amazing how quickly the horses got used to the aircraft right over their heads.
We went to Anglesey Show and had to be towed on and off but friend was 3rd in her class so pleased with result.
It was my first time riding on the beach and I was a little worried to say the least as Chum had bucked me off twice the last time I rode him (which happened to be our first show
) but he was a star, didn't put a hoof out of place and loved it
My confidence was soon restored - thank you to my friends who didn't tell me we would canter the first time as they knew I would fret
A very big thank you to Boris_the_Spyder (Pip) for looking after us all - Boris is a saint and all our horses loved him and so her sweet dog Alfie. It was fantastic to see Boris and Alfie race along the beach, my two friends a bit further back and then me and little Chum bringing up the rear, Chum galloped his heart out but we were left far behind
So we had a great time, can't wait to do it again and I would recommend it to everyone
