Without a horse to ride and care for I am quickly becoming a complete pain in the backside to live with - My husband therefore needs your urgent help !

My boy has found a lovely new home where he can hack and jump and have fun without the thought of having to do any dressage so he's happy , happy , happy. Now I know he's fine and settled I am on the lookout.

I am willing to travel anywhere except Scotland which is too far - any dealers that you could recommend ( or pm me if to be avoided ) any private sales etc.

I am looking for a horse that will happily school and hack out alone or in company a few times a week in addition. Has competed before and not fizzy at dressage competitions and will travel and stand outside the trailer for a picnic after competing. Comfortable on their own skin and has an established way of going. Looking to start doing some novice and take it from there.

15.3hh - 16.2hh mare or gelding as character far more important. A long term ( hopefully for life ) home awaits , cared for at one of the best livery yards in the area , so must also be polite to handle.

I have put this in competition because I do want a Team Mate that has been and done it before. I have a reasonable budget and am not a time waster. Working full - time I am only too aware how precious our time is.

Thank you for reading !!!!:) :)

is it purely dressage you want? I have a friend who will be getting rid of one of her eventers as she doent have time for them all. How old are you looking for he is only 6. PM if you want more info!!

I hope that you find a lovely horse to spend the summer with, and beyond. It's a shame we're too far for you (we are only 25mins from a major airport with £29.99 budget flights :D) as I have just sourced this 16/16.1 6yo by VDL Ard Douglas (Darco) who has a successful competition record with a young lady rider.

He looks at lot like my boy, except he has more brown in his coat. Monts is more dappled grey now. Were also Darco bloodlines, Winningmood is his daddy and Darco granddaddy. If I had the time and space I'd come and take him off your hands :D

xx
