After 3 years of having no rideable horse, my new weanling arrives tomorrow. So I suppose I am still without one to ride, but at least we can start with the basics. It seems an age since my big mare was pts, and I've only had my very old, very retired childhood pony to look after in the meantime. OH bought him for my birthday (which I totally wasn't expecting - he was never keen at all before). He's a coloured sports horse, should make 16.2 if not more, and takes everything in his stride even though he's only a baby. He'll be with me for life... roll on tomorrow morning!
