My legs have shrunk!!

I got a pair of Huntress wellies for my fat legs, now though i've lost so much weight

they bang against my legs when i walk

Ordinary Hunters are a bit too long/high, i've got shortish legs

So question is, i've read that Hunter wellies aren't up to their previous standard and wondered what you folks would suggest in the wellie department.

Firstly, well done on the weight loss! I am trying hard just now! I have just got a great pair of Barbour wellies for my mum. Hard wearing and comfy!!

I agree with the fact that Hunters ain't what they used to be. My first pair lasted 23 years - when they finally gave up the ghost I replaced them with some new Hunters - they split after two years and the next pair did the same again!

I would agree on hunters not lasting half as long. My first pair lasted years and years, and only died because I stuck a fork through them!

Subsequent pair lasted about 6 years, and the ones I bought a year ago have already lost a lot of their tread.

Resting on their reputation I wonder? I belived they also moved production abroad.
