She had a stress attack last night and was in such a state I took her to bed with me, that was after 15 minutes of her screaming and trying to dig through the kitchen door. She settled after a while and was ok for rest of the night. This morning she was sat grinning at me but when she moved there was a tiny damp patch on the sheet. As the sheet was coming off anyway I let her stay on the bed to observe. If she moved and lay down there was no problem but if she sat down another minute wet patch! She does have submissive urination but that's usually when a stranger tries to speak to her or occasionally when I go to put her lead on. She is a bit unusual having a tiny vulva which is tucked so high up when she pees she stains between her legs, I have to wash her bits every two days otherwise she gets dirty and smelly. She has been checked for bladder and kidney stones, the rest of her urinary tract is normal. As she is a tad prone to infections I've just dipped her urine and there are no signs of blood. She's going to the vets Monday anyway but I was wondering if anyone has had this problem! She has continued to lose weight by the way!

If she is spayed the leaking of urine could be due to spay incontinence which can be treated with Incurin.

Your vet is the best person to diagnose and advise on treatment and I see you have already booked an appointment.
