not sure f i have said about my scottie dog before but she is just over two years old and has come from fairly big stock for a scottie!!
Ever since she was a pup vets have always told me she is a little podgey and i have alwasy tried to make sure she stay ok on the weight with measuring feeds walks etc and changing to lower calorie etc, but now the vets have said that she is 3 kilos over weight and put her on a special weight diet! but even that doesn't seem to be doing much!!!
i have said maybe t could be thyroid or something but thye wont do any tests!!!
please any suggestions!!

You seem to be doing the right thing but maybe you could add some veg to her food to bulk it up without adding calories if she seems hungry. Does she get treats and snacks as well as her meals? That could add lots of calories to a small dogs diet without seeming much. Maybe check with the vet that you are feeding and walking her correctly and insist on blood tests before restricting her diet any more.

How much exercise does she get?

Do you feed any treats etc that are extra to her feed? If you do then you need to reduce the amount of feed she's getting accordingly - if you were dieting you wouldn't eat a mars bar and your normal food....
