Okay, well, actually he's a bit big for that, but hairy beast definitely earned his mints tonight!
It's not a big achievement as such, but it is for us, and I need to share
He had someone come and take a look at his back about a month ago now, because of some issues that we were having with getting the right leg in canter, but while his naughty mother was meant to be giving him more excersise, he actually ended up getting a bit less, and therefore gained a fat belly.
Hopefully, the excess chubb is on its way out now (although I'm sure a bit will stay!) and tonight was the first night that I was able to push him in his canter a bit more, and although we had many unsucessful transitions, after pulling him up, and asking for another, he would usually come correct, and we finished on him getting the right leg on my first asking twice, which has not happened since.. before MARCH!
I am so happy I could melt, and he seemed pretty cheerful himself, adding the occasional gymnastic movement to make things a little more.. interesting
How could you not love this?
This is an awful scruffy picture of us both but plastic flowers taste good, and it shows off how.. disgusting and windswept his freshly pulled mane is too!
