Just a quicky on the dreaded mirrors. What year and make is your wagon JM07, just that I followed the links and my lorry isnt listed, mine is a 2001 Iveco Cargo, the ones listed are the Eurocargo, stallis, tector etc but not just the Cargo.
Good luck tomorrow

Thanks I think I will have too. Felt like a right saddo today, found myself gawping at all the 7.5t wagons on the roads checking their mirrors. Seen a few without the extra mirror on well known parcel wagons.

(I hope the guy down the test centre has a good night's sleep and a nice breakfast, to put him in an excellent frame of mind)

If your cab is the same height as all the other Ivecos, yes you will need new mirrors

mine is a MAN 2000 W reg...

i couldn't be arsed with the form signing, i just told my mechanic to replace the existing mirrors of 400mm to the new 300mm as then there wouldn't be ANY arguement from VOSA.

I don't require the roof mirror as that is for 2007 vehicles and onwards...

You have to have the signed form otherwise you will fail. That was the first thing they asked for when I got there. They might have some blank ones if you are lucky for the driver to sign.

The form isn't optional.

so did mine have all the required mirrors for the plating..i just couldn't be arsed with them being picky about the sight range and signing any forms assuming i could see full range..so had them replaced with the new regulation sizes..

what i meant DD was i couldn't be arsed to sign it assuming my mirrors were ok, and my mechanic wasn't prepared to either, whether they check or not.

so we decided to replace them with the new reg sizes and he was happy to sign the form then..

Phew - I was starting to panic for you then.

I got given a piece of plastic that you put on the mirror and if there is no gap between the glass and the plastic the mirrors are legal.

my mechanic was told that all existing mirrors on ALL vehicles before 2007 will be obsolete and will need to be replaced by the new reg ones by 2012...so if thats the case, then i'm ahead of VOSA already!!

Hairline crack in the nearside front roadspring...

a G9/ order means it has to be replaced before it goes back on the road
