Update on my gorgous mare, she has had recurring colic for years and loads of problems (see earlier posts) but cutting a long story short the vets have now established she is allergic to hay and fructan in the grass when the night temperature drops below 4 degrees. I now have her on two hours turnout first thing, ad lib HorseHage High Fibre and three feeds of Havens Slobbermash a day. She is a different horse, very relaxed and looking the best she ever has...
