It was my sister's birthday yesterday, and basically, she was a bit upset because Solo wouldn't arrive for three weeks. Solo is what can only be described as a 'perfect horse'. He's a stunning mover, very forward going, but has been used to teach disabled children to ride. He's an absolute schoolmaster, has a wonderful jump, and makes dressage look oh so easy! He's a grey irish sports horse, 15.2 or 15.3hh, with fleabites on his neck and dapples on his bum! Anyways, my sister first saw him a couple of weeks ago, and thought we hadn't even had him vetted yet xD
So we were supposed to be meeting our grandparents at a chinese restraunt. But on the way up to pick up our grandparents, we all went to say night to Jayjay. Very cold, but nice, for the first HOUR. It was dark, too! After the second hour we got a little bit bored, and needless to say, the fluffy pony had fallen asleep. But at that moment, a lorry drew up in the yard. "Oh, Leanne's buying a new horsebox, she said she'd be back late." We all went out to see. At that moment, there came from the horsebox a really loud and long whinny! And so Solo was lead out, with a big bow around his neck, and one of those blue ribbon things you put on presents around his belly!
The horsebox was supposed to arrive at four, but they broke down and only got here at 8.30 xD
Solo seems to have settled in fine, and our grandparents were a bit annoyed at us being so late, but not too much
My sister hasn't been able to speak from happiness, and she woke us all up at 7am today to go and see him x) Parents said 'he'd probably be asleep, same as most SENSIBLE critters.'
So yeah, it was an amazing suprise x)
