My mare can't seem to grow hair on her face?

I have recently purchased a grey that has pink pigment visible on her face mainly around her muzzle but also up her cheek and around one of her eyes (she has dark eyes not pink)! She hardly has any hair covering these areas has anyone come across this before? I have to be very careful in the sun so she doesnt burn and she is always creamed up!
Is there anything I could try to help stimulate the hair growth???

I'm not quite sure what you mean, pink skinned muzzles never grow enough hair to cover them completely. And some horses do just have visible pink skin near the eyes. With you mentioning her cheek though is it possible its a skin infection? If you had her vetted did you ask the vet about it?
